I have been reading from a couple of books by John G. Lake as of late. This is a man that looked to God the way that David did, after His own heart. The simplicity of the day, if I may be so bold, is to take God at His word and say, "yes God do that, as it is written in your word, for so and so", and He does it. What would that be called? What kind of healing has happened there? I could believe God, but it wasn't only my belief that did it, God did it, but Jesus said that it is often our faith that makes something so or causes it to come into being, that person's faith, or was it a combination of or mixture of those? Who needs the answer? I just want it to happen! Let it be so for whomever you desire, maybe yourself if you are reading this. Maybe for someone else that you love. Heal them Lord!
[this is good] I had no idea that John G Lake's works were still in print! He was such an important figure in early Pentecostalism, but is now largely forgotten. I learned about him in a course on the History of Pentacostalism at Wheaton College. I would like to know the publisher of the book.

Valerie,
I got the one that I am reading from Ebay and the other from my Pastor. Try Amazon for the one listing on this blog. Many good things to you and yours! If this is not helpful, please let me know.
